The Pacific Venture Club exists to facilitate communications, connections, and dealmaking between entrepreneurs and resources of various kinds. It is headed by Robert Coleman, President, and Michael Chinn, Vice President.

Robert Coleman has been involved with entrepreneurial projects, venture capital, and innovative companies since 1985. Mr. Coleman was originally hired to perform due diligence reviews on portfolio companies invested in by a private venture capital firm (D. Michael Burns Venture Investments). Mr. Coleman also was an Associate with the boutique investment bank Smith-Bellingham. In 1987 Mr. Coleman decided to help facilitate the entrepreneurial process by forming the original Pacific Venture Club with a group of co-founders. He also operated a consulting firm for entrepreneurs called Master Plan Strategies, which he continues to head as President (http://www.mplanstrategies.com).

 Michael Chinn has over 16 years experience in technology related ventures as a CEO, CFO/CTO as well as being involved as an investor. His experience includes start-up ventures and technology companies in manufacturing, bio-agriculture, and alternative energy.

His management experience includes the initial senior team recruiting and the development and execution of several successful investment fund raising campaigns and participation in several successful mergers and acquisitions. Most recently he was the CFO for Planktos (PLKT.PK) where he participated in a merger and 2 acquisitions and several rounds of fund raising.
